Set in the shrine of French dance, the Garnier Opera house, L’Opera follows three characters whose dreams clash with reality, whose ambitions collide with expectations, and whose purity faces corruption.
At the world-famous Paris Opera, Zoé, a 35-year-old principal dancer with a brilliant career, recently struggled with excessive partying, lovers, and fears. With the looming threat of dismissal, Zoé must confront the institution, her colleagues, and, above all, her inner demons to secure a second chance. Meanwhile, 19-year-old Flora, a young black dancer, has just joined the company and only has a few months to carve out a place for herself and prove her courage.
