Exact develops business software for small and medium sized businesses to give them all the information they need to make the right decision. With their sleeves rolled up, they are proud go-getters with big dreams as well as reliable, accessible and very much driven by ambition.

a reliable partner. Yet we want to stretch this musically towards
a more fun, driven and convivial customer and employee motivation.

Score: the sound DNA

The Score is the starting point of creating a sound identity. This soundtrack is the alpha and omega of your sound: it contains all the necessary elements for further derivatives. Our mission with it? To make a brand sing in a relevant, distinctive, catchy and ownable way.

We experimented with a combination of a rather uptempo score enriched with mostly acoustic instruments, driven percussion and soothing backing vocals. Rhythmically and melodically we kept things simple, catchy and accessible, while at the same time building out and telling a story through-out the score.

 

Logo: the core of the DNA

The sound Logo represents the melodic heart, distilled from the Score. Short, particular, recognisable, completely ‘you’.

For the sound logo, we experimented with a melody and chord progression that guides us toward a warm and trustworthy resolution.
